Fountain Life, and the alternatives

What Fountain Life offers as of October 2026, how its imaging connects to cholesterol treatment, and who should pick which.

Online, nationwide in the US. Protocols written by a board-certified preventive cardiologist.

TL;DR

Fountain Life sells in-person longevity memberships built around advanced imaging and diagnostics: full-body MRI, AI-guided coronary CT angiography, whole genome sequencing and 100+ blood biomarkers, at centers in five US cities. It suits people who want a deep annual workup and live near a center. When a scan finds plaque, the treatment with the most trial evidence lowers ApoB, and a lipid-only practice spends all its time on that.

What Fountain Life offers (as of October 2026)

  • Memberships. CORE ("The Essential Longevity Experience"), APEX ("The Premier Longevity Membership"), APEX Family, and an Executive Health program. Membership pages show which diagnostics each tier includes once a year and which cost extra.
  • Imaging and diagnostics. Full-body and brain MRI, coronary CT angiography read with AI (which measures the amount and type of plaque in the heart arteries), lung screening, retinal imaging, skin mapping, cancer screening and 100+ blood biomarkers.
  • Genetics. Whole genome sequencing, listed on the membership pages.
  • Care and therapies. A physician-led program with a medical team Fountain Life describes as available around the clock, plus restorative therapeutics that include stem cell options, which the site labels with an FDA disclaimer.
  • Locations. Dallas, New York, Orlando, Naples and Houston, with Miami and Los Angeles listed as coming soon.
  • Cost. Fountain Life doesn't publish prices on its site. It shares pricing through brochures and consultations.

Why we start with cholesterol

Heart disease kills more Americans than any other cause, year after year, according to the CDC. Most of it starts with cholesterol-carrying particles (the ones tagged by ApoB, a protein on LDL and its cousins) lodging in artery walls.

Genetic, observational and randomized trial evidence all point the same way: these particles cause atherosclerosis, and the longer and higher your exposure, the more plaque builds (European Atherosclerosis Society consensus, Ference and colleagues, 2017). In the Cholesterol Treatment Trialists' analysis of statin trials, each 39 mg/dL drop in LDL cholesterol (LDL-C) cut major heart attacks and strokes by about a fifth. The FOURIER (2017) and ODYSSEY OUTCOMES (2018) trials showed that PCSK9 inhibitors lower events further on top of a statin.

Few longevity strategies have that much evidence behind them, so we focus there, with an LDL and ApoB goal, the right medicine to reach it, and rechecks that keep you there.

Fountain Life may suit you if

  • You want a full-body imaging workup once a year
  • You live near Dallas, New York, Orlando, Naples or Houston
  • You want many organ systems screened in one place

Preval Health may suit you if

Imaging and treatment work well together. A coronary CT angiogram shows plaque; lowering ApoB slows how fast it grows and cuts the chance of a heart attack. Many people pair a scan from one place with ongoing lipid treatment from another.

Lipid care is all we do. A board-certified preventive cardiologist wrote our treatment protocols, and licensed clinicians in our partner telehealth network deliver care and write prescriptions. We order ApoB and Lp(a) at the start, set your goal, and step treatment up from statins through PCSK9 inhibitors until you reach it. We run as a cash practice: $99 a month for care, medicines at cash prices, and no insurance billing.

Common questions

What is Fountain Life?

Fountain Life runs in-person longevity membership centers that focus on early detection. Memberships include advanced imaging such as full-body MRI and AI-guided coronary CT angiography, whole genome sequencing, 100+ blood biomarkers, and a physician-led care team.

How much does Fountain Life cost?

As of October 2026, Fountain Life doesn't list prices on its website. It shares pricing for its CORE, APEX and APEX Family memberships through brochures and consultations.

Where are Fountain Life locations?

Dallas, New York, Orlando, Naples and Houston, with Miami and Los Angeles listed as coming soon, as of October 2026.

My scan showed plaque. What should I do next?

Plaque in the heart arteries raises your risk, and lowering LDL and ApoB has the most trial evidence for slowing it and preventing heart attacks. Ask a clinician to set a specific LDL and ApoB goal, choose medicine to reach it, and recheck your labs until you do.

How is Preval Health different from Fountain Life?

Fountain Life finds problems through in-person imaging and diagnostics across the whole body. Preval Health focuses on one problem online, high LDL and ApoB. We set a goal with you, partner clinicians prescribe statins through PCSK9 inhibitors such as Lerochol, Repatha, Praluent and Lipfendra, and we keep following your labs to reach it and stay there. A board-certified preventive cardiologist wrote the protocols, and licensed clinicians deliver care.
